Student Involvement in STaC Society
Because the STaC Society is a student-run organization that supports and promotes the STaC student body, it is essential that students contribute their skills and abilities so that the STaC Society can continue to provide benefits to all STaC majors. In return, STaC Society members may build their portfolios, gain leadership experience, and achieve greater skills in a professional and cooperative environment. To begin your involvement in the STaC Society, feel free to stop by the weekly officer meetings or sign-up for the Action Email List.
Meetings
These are held every Wednesday at 4:00pm in the Student Center Commons outside Jackets and Pandini's. These meetings are for providing updates to the other officers about projects that are being worked on, as well as planning future projects.
Action Email List
This is a new network that the STaC Society is implementing to allow students that have harried schedules a chance to set their own level of involvement. We will maintain a mailing list of interested STaC Students and when we have a project coming up that requires volunteers for organizing the event, creating fliers or banners, or coordinating the event with other schools, we will send an email out to the Action List that details what kind of help is needed for that project. Subscribers to the Action List can then respond if they are able to help out on that particular project. To be added to this list, email your contact information to the STaC Society Secretary, Amaris Gutierrez-Ray .
